Our group training

Why are we different?

Is this what you're thinking?

We focus on Strength-Based Group Training — not HIIT, not exhaustion, just results.

At Hustle Hut Health, our group classes are designed by a Personal Trainer and Physiotherapist, built on real strength principles — not smash-yourself, no-rest workouts.

To genuinely build strength, your muscles need:

  • Heavier loads
  • ~12 reps or fewer
  • ~2 minutes rest between sets

If you can perform 20–30+ reps with no rest, you’re not strength training — you’re doing cardio.

Cardio has its place, but it doesn’t build muscle. Muscle is what actually drives long-term health, strength, and resilience.

 Why Muscle Strength Matters

Strength isn’t just a gym goal — it’s a health essential.

People with higher muscular strength have a ~31% lower risk of death from all causes compared with weaker individuals.
And strength training regularly is linked with a 10–17% lower risk of chronic disease and mortality, including heart disease and cancer.

Muscle:

Protects joints from injury

Boosts metabolism and fat loss

Improves bone density and prevents fractures

Supports nervous system resilience

Keeps you mobile, active, and independent as you age

When you train strength properly, your body adapts — and your whole life benefits.

Why HIIT Isn’t the Answer for Most People

HIIT prioritises intensity, not adaptation.

It uses lighter loads, minimal rest, and high fatigue — which limits strength development, reduces recovery, and increases overall stress on the body. For many people, this leads to plateaus, burnout, and higher injury risk.

Building strength requires the opposite: enough load, proper rest, and progressive structure.

HIIT is a tool. Strength training is the foundation.

How It Works

01 Initial Consultation

Meet with our team to discuss your goals, injury history, movement concerns, training background, and what you want Pilates to help you achieve.

02 Movement Assessment

We assess your posture, control, strength, mobility, breathing patterns, and any areas of pain, stiffness, or instability so we can guide you properly.

03 Structured Strength Sessions

Train in coached group sessions following a progressive strength program. Focus on proper technique, controlled loading, and building real strength over time.

04 Progression for long term results

As your body becomes stronger and more capable, we progress your program so you continue improving rather than plateauing. The goal is not just short term relief. The goal is long term function, strength, and confidence.

Mr. Brayden Laughlin

Personal Trainer

Brayden is a personal trainer who genuinely cares about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and capable in their bodies.

His journey into training began in 2018 while working alongside his dad as a carpenter. What started as a way to stay fit quickly turned into a passion for helping others move and feel better. That passion led him to leave carpentry behind — with his final job helping build the very gym he now trains clients in.

Brayden believes training should be supportive, encouraging, and tailored to the person in front of him. He takes the time to understand your goals, your challenges, and what movement means to you, creating sessions that build strength while also respecting your body.

His training focuses on strength and conditioning, muscle building, sports performance, and improving mobility and flexibility — always with an emphasis on long-term health, not quick fixes.

Outside the gym, Brayden enjoys spending time outdoors, long walks, beach days, and training with friends. He also believes in balance — including the occasional doughnut.

If you’re looking for a trainer who is approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress, Brayden is here to support you every step of the way.
