NDIS Personal Training Illawarra
Evidence-Based, Individualised Exercise for NDIS Participants
At Hustle Hut Health, we provide NDIS-supported personal training for participants across the Illawarra, including Wollongong and Shellharbour. Our approach is evidence-based, fully individualised, and delivered in a supportive, inclusive environment where every person feels seen, understood, and set up for success.
We combine clinical insight with functional, strength-based training to help participants build confidence, improve capacity, and work towards meaningful long-term goals — all at a pace that feels safe and achievable.
WHO IS THIS FOR
Our NDIS personal training is designed for anyone who needs a safe, guided, and confidence-building space to improve their health and strength, including people with:
Intellectual disability
Autism (ASD)
Psychosocial disability
Neurological conditions
Hypermobility, EDS, and chronic pain
Low confidence or anxiety in gym environments
Whether you’re brand new to exercise or looking to rebuild routine and independence, our team meets you exactly where you’re at — with patience, understanding, and a plan that truly fits you.
Our NDIS personal training is delivered inside a physio-led health and performance facility, giving every participant access to a level of safety, structure, and professional oversight you won’t find in generic or boot-camp-style programs.
The environment is intentionally calm, supportive, and nervous-system-safe, allowing people with complex needs to feel grounded and in control. Our trainers are experienced in working with a wide range of physical, neurological, and psychosocial conditions, and we collaborate closely with our physiotherapy team whenever extra guidance is needed.
This integrated approach ensures every session is tailored, safe, and built around long-term confidence and capacity — not quick fixes.
NDIS physiotherapy services can be claimed under two common funding categories, depending on your plan and goals:
Improved Daily Living
This category can fund physiotherapy when the focus is on building functional skills, improving independence, or supporting assessment and reporting needs.
Capacity Building Supports
Physiotherapy can also be accessed under this category when it helps participants improve strength, mobility, participation, and overall capacity in everyday life.
We work with all plan types
Whether you are self-managed or plan-managed, we can support you.
We liaise directly with your support coordinator
We keep communication clear and collaborative to ensure your therapy aligns with your plan.
We can help check funding suitability
If you’re unsure which category applies, we can review the goals in your plan and guide you on the most appropriate funding line.

Brayden is a personal trainer who genuinely cares about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and capable in their bodies.
His journey into training began in 2018 while working alongside his dad as a carpenter. What started as a way to stay fit quickly turned into a passion for helping others move and feel better. That passion led him to leave carpentry behind — with his final job helping build the very gym he now trains clients in.
Brayden believes training should be supportive, encouraging, and tailored to the person in front of him. He takes the time to understand your goals, your challenges, and what movement means to you, creating sessions that build strength while also respecting your body.
His training focuses on strength and conditioning, muscle building, sports performance, and improving mobility and flexibility — always with an emphasis on long-term health, not quick fixes.
Outside the gym, Brayden enjoys spending time outdoors, long walks, beach days, and training with friends. He also believes in balance — including the occasional doughnut.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in your progress, Brayden is here to support you every step of the way.
